Production Styles for the Electronic Performer

Description

In this course students will explore the relationship between electronic music production and performance techniques. While audio production effects such as EQ, compression, delay, and reverb are common to all types of music production, this course will examine how their use helps define the sonic characteristic of particular musical styles, and an understanding of these is essential to developing an effective electronic performance practice.  Special emphasis will be placed on analyzing characteristic productions and developing strategies for preparing assets from these for an electronic performance.
