Advanced VJ Performance Techniques

Description

Advanced VJ Performance techniques will build on the experience developed in MTEC-362, VJ Performance Techniques, to offer students the opportunity to expand their skills and visual vocabulary. Topics will include visual effects and plug-ins, basic 3D animation techniques, lighting and LED control, and designing for installations. The class will introduce alternative VJ software, interactive video software as well as integration with Ableton Live for music and sound. Students in the class will develop a project throughout the semester and an emphasis will be placed on developing individual student goals.
