Description
This course uses provides the framework for students to create a unique interactive music experience in the Unreal Engine. Students will learn the basics of working in Unreal as they become familiar with its graphical interface and underpinning technologies. Assignments build skills to better understand best practices when utilizing the native audio functionality of Unreal. In a variety of game contexts, students will more fully recognize interactivity within Unreal with the goal of designing and implementing audio hooks into game environments. Additionally, students will explore the challenges of implementing basic adaptive music functionality in a game setting. No prior programming experience required.
