TouchDesigner for Audio-Visual Performance and Installations

Description

This class provides students with the opportunity to create original audio-visual installations and performances using TouchDesigner, focusing on foundational skills in real-time, interactive design. Students will learn to create dynamic visuals that respond to audio and explore basic node-based programming, MIDI and OSC integration, and simple audio-reactive animations. Weekly assignments include reading, programming exercises, and small live demos, leading to a final project that can be a performance or installation using original TouchDesigner software.
