Description

The Performance of Original Music in Contemporary Latin Styles Ensemble is a course designed to perform original songs in contemporary Latin styles, open to all students, disregarding their major and instrument. With the weekly guidance of the instructor, students will work together on achieving week-to-week goals, creating all the instrumental parts of the selected new songs and effectively leading and participating in rehearsals in order to perform live with the ensemble's instrumentation. There will be a performance at the end of the semester with a polished set featuring the original material.
