Description

The Music of Disclosure Ensemble is an advanced ensemble that will focus on the repertoire of electronic duo Disclosure, involving the analysis, transcription, re-creation, and remixing of their productions and  performances. Emphasis will be placed on techniques for translating complex studio productions into compelling live performances. In addition to individual electronic performance systems, students will learn to effectively  integrate acoustic elements and live input such as vocals, percussion, guitars, and hardware  synthesizers, as appropriate for the repertoire. Emphasis will be given to stylistic integrity, as well as melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic accuracy.
