Video Game Scoring Fundamentals for Composers

This course explores the creative possibilities of interactive and adaptive music and provides an overview of approaches to scoring for video games. Students will learn the process and workflow for producing interactive music through the use of audio middleware and the Unreal Engine. By the end of the semester, students will create an executable product such as an interactive text-based minigame or an artistic interactive video.
