Description

This course will build on the skills developed in Technology for Musical Theater Writers 1, continuing to examine the various technology software applications used within the musical theater industry. Students will continue to learn more advanced skills in the various digital audio workstations including Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and MainStage. Industry standard libretto formatting and notation software to create industry standard engraved scores will continue to be demonstrated for implementation in their Culminating Experience musicals. Additionally, students will continue to experience the elements and techniques of basic music video production and post-production for promotional material as they develop and promote their work in the industry.
