Songwriting and Production Seminar

Description

In this peer and faculty review seminar, students will refine their original songs by evaluating songwriting and production choices as an integrated whole. They will present works-in-progress and engage in critical listening, structured peer and faculty critique, and revision strategies to strengthen both artistic impact and industry relevance. By synthesizing skills and perspectives from across the program, students will refine a cohesive direction for their Culminating Experience. They will create release-ready work that reflects their evolving artistic identities represented by their unique cohesive sounds.
