This course focuses on the art of writing, arranging, and programming MIDI strings for contemporary music, with an emphasis on musical and supportive arrangements that enhance modern productions. Students will explore techniques for crafting realistic, expressive, and emotionally impactful string sections within a digital environment. Topics include voicing, articulation, sound selection, layering, automation, and mixing. Through hands-on projects, students will develop MIDI string arrangements that support their original productions.
