Writing English Lyrics as a Non-Native Speaker

Description

This course is designed for Chinese native speakers who are interested in improving their ability to write effective and compelling lyrics in English. Students will learn various techniques for crafting lyrics that convey emotion, tell a story, and connect with audiences through a combination of lectures, workshops, and writing exercises. The course will be taught in English, but the instructor will make accommodations for students who may need additional support in understanding the language. Additionally, the instructor can also provide support for students interested in improving lyric writing in Chinese.
