Students enrolled in this course will identify and practice concepts to be further explored in CMSP-535 Songwriting Techniques. By reinforcing a set of tools and approaches to writing melodies and crafting lyrics, students will work to hone their skills in a variety of current genres. Students will become familiar with techniques for generating, developing, revising, analyzing, and structuring their songs to best serve their artistic voice and vision.
