Description

This course provides a foundational exploration of lyric writing, offering beginning writers a framework to understand the fundamental tools and techniques of lyric writing. Through the workshop, students will explore the different aspects of generating lyrical concepts and ideas in relation to rhythm, rhymes, lines, literary devices, and the shape of language. Students will learn and apply a diverse set of lyric generation tools, and individualized approaches with in class practical time.
