Description

This course involves the theory and practice of creating and deploying image and video for performance. We will cover some historical background of image in performance, as well as study current multimedia deployments. Learning and honing skills in image editing, composition, generation, and visual storytelling as a medium will be forefront. Understanding media delivery systems as tools, and being able to choose the right tool for the right job will be paramount. Imaging skills from this course will be applicable to live performance, as well as most all realms where visual art and communication are valued. An indispensable tool set for all. Camera capture from the first semester will feature prominently in this semester’s work.
