Special Topics in Composition and Conducting courses are advanced-level COMP project classes focusing on new and special topics at a depth beyond that which is possible in general COMP classes. Topics may include advanced composition and conducting, emerging technology needs in contemporary music, and professional areas of focus that demand specialized knowledge and technical skill.
Each course section will vary in the scope and depth of coverage of its given topic area, as well as in the sequence and emphasis of semester projects. Students should consult the course description for the specific section and semester.
