Sean Jones Master Class
The Berklee College of Music Brass Department welcomes acclaimed trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and educator Sean Jones for a special master class with Berklee brass students.
Known for his commanding sound, expressive musicianship, and deep connection to the jazz tradition, Jones has built an international career as a performer and educator. During this master class, he will share insights drawn from his experience on the bandstand and in the classroom, addressing musicianship, improvisation, sound development, artistic identity, and the professional demands of a life in music.
Students will have the opportunity to hear Jones discuss his musical approach, work directly with Berklee musicians, and explore the relationship between technical command, personal expression, and the traditions that continue to shape jazz.
Presented by the Berklee College of Music Brass Department, this master class offers students an opportunity to learn from one of the leading trumpet voices and educators in contemporary jazz.
