    Berklee City Music Boston Alum
    Ambar was born and raised in Boston, and is currently a Berklee student as well as a City Music alum. She is a proud Dominican-American first generation college student who started in music by playing trumpet. It wasn’t until 2022 that Ambar transitioned into being a jazz vocalist, which was heavily influenced by her time playing trumpet.

    Berklee City Music Alumni Next-Gen All Stars

    Jazzy Christophe is a Mauritian saxophonist, composer, and percussionist currently based in Boston. He attended Mo’Zar Espace Artistique, an organization dedicated to empowering children from low-income communities by combating social exclusion through jazz music. He toured with the school’s ensemble, performing at renowned jazz festivals such as the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, Havana Jazz festival in Cuba, and Rio Das Ostras Jazz and Blues Festival in Brazil.

    2019 Berklee City Music College Scholarship Recipient

    Diji Diallo is a New York-based trumpet player, as well as an experimental hip-hop and R&B music producer originally from New Orleans. A Berklee alumni, Diji graduated with a B.A. in professional music and M.A. in songwriting and production.

    Growing up with “perfect pitch," Miguel would absorb as much musical knowledge as possible from many sources of inspiration, ranging from his family’s heritage to popular radio hits and television commercial jingles. Continuously seeking to hone his craft, Miguel participated in a number of music programs while growing up in Boston, including Berklee City Music Boston's High School Academy. He also received the City Music Summer Scholarship to attend the Berklee Aspire: Five Week Summer Program. There, he widened his palette of musical expression and expanded his skillset as a music director, arranger, producer, and engineer. Miguel continues to be versatile in his musical expression while working in varied capacities throughout New England.

    Christoff Glaude began playing piano and drums at age five. In 2019, he followed in his parents’ footsteps by graduating from Berklee, majoring in music education. He now shares his passion as a music educator in the Boston Public Schools.

    Dominic Glaude BM '22, known professionally as Diggity Dom, began his musical journey as a Berklee City Music student, where his passion for creativity and community first took shape. Through his company, Diggity Dom Entertainment LLC, he’s built a platform dedicated to uplifting and inspiring others through music, media, and live experiences. His mission is to connect artists and audiences in meaningful ways.

    Musical director Tyson Jackson has studied with and was mentored by world-renowned artists including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Terence Blanchard, Darren Barrett, AJ Wright, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ralph Peterson, Tia Fuller, Sean Jones, Nona Hendryx, and many more.

    2023 Berklee City Music College Scholar

    Hillary Perez is a vocalist in her fifth semester at Berklee College of Music, where she is pursuing a degree in Music Therapy. Hillary received the City Music Full-Tuition College Scholarship in 2023.

    Vocalist Adeline Hum has sang "The National Anthem" at Fenway Park and TD Garden and has performed at events for the Grammy Museum, the Boston Celtics Gala, House of Blues Chicago, Wimbledon Theatre London, Edinburgh Fringe Festival (with the Accidentals), and TaylorGate on the Eras Tour, among others.

    Charlotte B. Um is a Korean American actor and dancer based in New York City. She is an account director at DIVE Studios and currently signed with Rebel Creative Group and Take 3 talent agency.

    Briana Washington is a dynamic singer, keyboardist, arranger, producer, and songwriter born and raised in the San Fransisco Bay Area. She channels the essence of icons such as Alicia Keys, Nina Simone, and Patrice Rushen. Briana's soulful, alternative R&B sound — and who she is as a performer, producer, and arranger — is attributed to her strong roots in gospel.

    2015 Berklee City Music College Scholarship Recipient

    Vocalist and actor Britani Washington BM '19 (artist name Britani Ninice) has performed with Alicia Keys as well as Kirk Franklin and Lil Wayne at the 2025 BET Awards. She is also an active live performer throughout LA. Her on-screen credits include Abbott Elementary, Bel-Air, SWAT, All American, 911, and national campaigns for Nike, Airbnb, Sonic, Dunkin’ Donuts, and more.
