Accepted Music Education Graduate Students: Next Steps Summer (June) 2022
We are excited to welcome you to Berklee College of Music’s community of artists, educators, scholars, and leaders for the summer 2022 semester. Please review and complete the enrollment action items below that are required for you to join us on campus this summer and continue to check the next steps section in the applicant portal.
If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@berklee.edu.
Pay Your Tuition Deposit by May 1
Tuition deposits are due upon notification of your acceptance to the college. This initial deposit secures your seat in the entering class and is credited toward your first semester bill. Go to the applicant portal, indicate "yes" to reply to your admissions offer, and then pay the deposit. Learn more about our payment options.
Review and Manage Your Financial Aid
View your financial aid award by visiting Berklee's financial aid portal, NetPartner. You can check the status of your application, view a list of documents we've received from you and a list of the documents still outstanding, and see your financial aid award.
Use NetPartner in conjunction with my.berklee.edu (login required) to manage your financial aid and check your award status.
International Students: Request Your I-20 Form Immediately
All students from outside the United States who plan to attend Berklee must complete an I-20 form in order to apply for an F-1 student visa at a U.S. consulate or embassy. Review the I-20/F-1 Visa Information page for step-by-step instructions on how to complete your I-20.
Contact your enrollment officer at eo@berklee.edu if you have any questions.
Activate Your Berklee OnePass and Email Address
OnePass allows you to have one set of login credentials for many of Berklee’s technology services. To view and set up your OnePass ID, go to the "Next Steps" page in the applicant portal.
Once you activate your Berklee OnePass, you’ll have access to:
- Your Berklee.edu email account, which you should check regularly leading up to the start of the semester;
- My.berklee.edu, where you will go to pay your tuition bill, view your tuition statement, and transfer credit (if applicable); and
- Internal web pages within Berklee.edu and college.berklee.edu that require a login to view the content.
Note: After you are accepted to Berklee and pay your tuition deposit, it can take up to a week for your OnePass information to be added to the applicant portal.
Set Up Duo Mobile
When you log in to Berklee sites and services (e.g., Berklee.edu, your Berklee email, and Google Suite), you’ll use an extra level of security called two-factor authentication to protect your data. Berklee uses an app called Duo Mobile for two-factor authentication.
If you have any trouble logging in or enrolling in Duo Mobile, please contact the Technology Service Desk at +1 617-747-2238 or 2238@berklee.edu, available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Review Important Health Insurance Information
The state of Massachusetts requires that students be enrolled in a health insurance plan that offers comprehensive coverage. All coverage must be in effect while you are enrolled at Berklee College of Music, even while studying abroad, and coverage must be compliant with state and federal regulations under the Affordable Care Act. We also recommend that your insurance plan provides coverage anywhere in the United States and abroad, and that it includes provisions for medical evacuation and repatriation of remains.
Students may waive (decline) participation in the Berklee SHIP if they can demonstrate coverage with a comparable insurance plan that is consistent with existing state and federal requirements for students enrolled in colleges and universities in Massachusetts. The insurance coverage requirements for waiving the SHIP are not internal policies set by Berklee.
The waiver is completed online on the Gallagher Student Health website (gallagherstudent.com/berklee). You must complete an online waiver for each new academic year during which you do not want the institution's plan. Verbal waiver requests, letters, and copies of insurance cards will not be accepted. Should your waiver be denied, information on how to appeal a waiver denial will be available directly to students in the denial email. All decisions made by Gallagher Student Health are final. Berklee engages the professional services of Gallagher Student Health and Special Risk to: communicate to each eligible student how to request a waiver; notify students of the dates by which waiver requests may be made; and review whether or not waiver requests are compliant with Massachusetts regulations.

Submit Your Completed Immunization Form
All entering and transfer students must submit a completed Berklee Entering Student Immunization Form to Magnus Health, Berklee’s provider for collecting, managing, and tracking immunization information. The Massachusetts code of regulations and Berklee require that all students enrolled in programs at Berklee’s campus in Boston provide documentation that they have been immunized against the illnesses listed on our website.
Log in to your Magnus Health account with your Berklee OnePass to submit your proof of vaccinations under the "Berklee Immunization Form and COVID-19 Vaccine Documentation" requirement. Please be aware that it may take up to a week from your admittance to the institution for your Magnus Health account to be active.
Berklee requires all community members (students, faculty, and staff) to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
Approved medical or religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccination will be accommodated. Email immunizations@berklee.edu to request an exemption form.
If you do not submit your vaccination record, you may not be able to access campus at the start of the semester and are at risk of being unable to enroll for the semester. If you have concerns about submitting your vaccine record, please email immunizations@berklee.edu.
If you have any general questions, please email Health and Wellness at healthandwellness@berklee.edu.
Submit Transfer Student Discipline Record Release Form
All students who have attended college or university in the last five (5) years must submit a Transfer Student Discipline Record Release Form that has been signed by an authorized official from your institution.
