Bruce Molsky

Visiting Scholar

Bruce Molsky has brought fiddle, banjo, guitar, and songs of the southern mountains to generations of players and enthusiasts. His expansive take on traditional music has resulted in two Grammy nominations, and has landed him in collaborations with some of the world's highly respected players, including Mark Knopfler, Anonymous 4, Jerry Douglas, and Scottish legend Aly Bain. Along with Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny, Molsky is a founding member of the supergroup Mozaik. He stays active touring and recording with longtime collaborators Darol Anger, Tony Trischka, and Molsky’s Mountain Drifters with Allison de Groot and Reed Stutz, both Berklee graduates who studied with Molsky.
