Genre Fluid is an exploration of the human voice in its most dynamic and versatile form. Berklee Voice faculty Jamie Hart and Craig Simonetti strip away the boundaries of genre, bringing together an eclectic mix of styles, eras, and cultures in one electrifying performance. Inspired by their journey to the American Traditions Vocal Competition, this concert is about celebrating contrast and connection—how the same voice can tell a story in infinite ways. From jazz and folk to classical, pop, R&B—even beatboxing—Hart and Simonetti team up with select Berklee students and staff to explore the diverse sounds that shape contemporary singing, highlighting the remarkable versatility of the human voice.
