Biography

Cathy Horn leads the team responsible for six of Berklee’s performance venues and the events held in those venues. Berklee hosts over 2,000 events each year, including student, faculty, and visiting artist performances and events and various productions presented by outside promoters, arts presenters, and community groups. 

Departmental services include venue booking and scheduling, production, marketing, ticketing, and front-of-house operations. Horn also serves as staff co-chair for the Berklee Sustainability Coalition, an umbrella group for the various environmental and sustainability clubs and efforts on the Boston campus.

Horn has a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications and public relations from Boston University. She recently earned a Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation from the International Association of Venue Managers.  

Beyond her role at Berklee, Horn is on the executive board of Hyde Park Main Streets and is the founder of a community group called Keep Hyde Park Beautiful. In 2019 Horn was the recipient of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women's Unsung Heroine Award.
