Pelin Su Yavuz is a 19-year-old pianist and vocalist, currently a sophomore at Berklee. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she began singing at a young age and started classical piano studies at the Mimar Sinan State Conservatory at age ten. Since moving to Boston in 2021, she has explored a wide range of genres, including jazz, R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, funk, pop, and classical.
In 2024, Yavuz won the Fidelity Young Artists Competition and performed with the Boston Pops. She was later featured at Boston Calling, performing for three consecutive days as a headliner. Her artistry has been recognized by Lenny Kravitz, Questlove, David Foster, Jon Batiste, Rick Beato, Robert Glasper, Randy Jackson, Anderson .Paak and many more.
Yavus has collaborated with Grammy-winning/nominated artists such as Keyon Harrold, Tia Fuller, Kris Davis, and Brian Kennedy. Her viral videos have brought her growing acclaim as a boundary-pushing pianist, vocalist, and composer.
