Funds raised through Amplify Berklee provide scholarships for students in Berklee City Music, our year-round, tuition-free music education program serving talented young people from under-resourced communities locally, nationally, and globally.

Grammy-Nominated Afro-Cuban Artist Joins Amplify
Cimafunk Headlines Amplify Berklee
Amplify Berklee will culminate with a headline performance by internationally acclaimed, three-time Grammy-nominated artist Cimafunk. Joined by his nine-piece Havana band, La Tribu, Cimafunk brings an electrifying fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk, and contemporary sounds to the stage. His name pays tribute to the Cimarrons—Cubans of African descent who resisted slavery—and his music celebrates Black identity and the enduring influence of the African diaspora. Known for his magnetic stage presence and genre-defying sound, Cimafunk has captivated audiences around the world, with appearances at Coachella, the Kennedy Center Honors, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and NPR’s Tiny Desk. His high-energy performance promises a powerful and unforgettable finale to the evening.
