BTAC PROGRAMS

BTAC Around the World Program- Interactive hybrid online and in person education program as part of Berklee Theater for Young Audiences. Berklee students collaborate in the classroom to write and stage 10-minute original musicals. These musicals are then shared online with students in other countries. Those countries share their artistic projects with our students as well, and students from both countries engage in collaborative workshop activities together. There is a strong focus on cultural exchange.

Berklee on Broadway Industry Trip Showcase- Each year the Career Center hosts a Berklee on Broadway (BOB Berklee NYC campus trip with a diverse group of panelists from the industry including notable alumni. This trip also features an original music showcase collaboration between Berklee Theater Arts Collaborative (BTAC)  in collaboration with our Berklee NYC graduate program in Writing and Production for Musical Theater, which features student performers (vocal and instrumental), writers, musical directors, and stage managers.

Curtain Up - Annual showcase of original musical theater songs written, orchestrated, and performed by Berklee students. Featuring a powerhouse band and a line-up of stellar vocalists, Curtain Up celebrates the winners of Berklee’s annual Musical Theater Songwriting Contest. A showcase for Berklee’s minor in musical theater writing, this concert is a large-scale collaboration between performers, writers, and arrangers across Berklee’s different departments.

BTAC Annual 48 Hour Theater Project - The 48-Hour Theater Project presents original, 10-minute musicals written, directed, composed, performed, and produced by students in a two-day span.
