Hours before the commencement concert—during which Lennox performed a stunning rendition of “Cold”—she took some time out to talk about her life in the industry and what lessons Berklee’s graduates should keep in mind as they set out on their own musical journeys. She speaks about bringing your own flavor to your music, her collaboration with Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, the importance of staying humble and grateful in the face of fame, and how Berklee is the “launching pad for the next adventure.”
