Students Required to be Fully Vaccinated for Fall 2021

All students returning to Berklee's Boston campus will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to resume on-campus activities and use in-person resources.

April 28, 2021

Berklee has announced that it will require all students studying at the institution’s Boston campus location to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before the start of the fall 2021 semester.

Students being vaccinated in the United States must have received their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, at least two weeks before returning to campus. Berklee encourages students who live outside of the U.S. with access to a vaccine that is not on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) list of approved vaccines to consider getting vaccinated, and to seek medical advice on the appropriateness and efficacy of available vaccines. The institution will provide guidance to students who cannot obtain a vaccine in their country before their arrival to campus.

Berklee will also require all faculty, staff, and vendor partners to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in preparation for the fall semester.

Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee recently announced a return to in-person instruction at their Boston facilities this fall. On-campus offerings for the fall will include classroom learning, private lessons, in-person studio classes, studio recording, ensemble participation, and live performances. Additional information about Berklee’s plans for the summer and fall semesters is available on the Back to Berklee website.
