Berklee's annual Middle Eastern Music Festival highlighted the music of Persia as well as the Balkans and Caucasus. Under the direction of Eugene Friesen, the concert features the Pletenitsa Balkan Choir, Berklee World Strings, and the Berklee Middle Eastern Festival Band. The concert also featured visiting artists Sahba Motallebi (tar, setar) and Mehdi Bagheri (setar, kamancheh).
The Middle Eastern Music Festival, held on March 3 at the Berklee Performance Center, was part of Berklee's 2015 Signature Series.
