Gary Burton 50th Anniversary Concert to be Broadcast on NPR's 'Jazz Set'

Beginning Friday, January 21, the Gary Burton 50th Anniversary Concert recorded at Berklee will be broadcast on NPR’s JazzSet by 140 NPR affiliate stations nationwide, on-demand at NPRmusic.org, and Real Jazz on SiriusXM Radio. In Boston, the concert will air on 89.7 WGBH Saturday, January 22 at 10:00 pm. Since arriving as a student at Berklee in 1960, Gary Burton has led groups that have defined jazz’s state-of-the-art for five decades, while forming lasting relationships and winning six Grammy Awards.
