This year's Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival was yet another success, as the free, all-day event once again attracted a large and diverse audience of all age groups to Boston’s South End to enjoy countless musical acts. This year's theme was “Jazz: The Voice of the People,” although there was a variety of genres represented beyond jazz, including Latin music, contemporary pop, soul, and R&B. This year’s lineup included Alissia Benveniste, Ledisi, Felix Peikli, Jaguar Wright, and groups led by Berklee faculty including Terri Lyne Carrington, Eguie Castrillo, George Garzone, David Gilmore, and many more.
