Latin pop superstar Alejandro Sanz had a busy week at Berklee. The 15-time Latin Grammy Award winner put on a clinic for an enthusiastic group of Berklee students, before recieving an honorary doctorate in front of a sold-out crowd at the Berklee Performance Center. Berklee president Roger H. Brown was on hand to present Sanz with the honor, followed by a heartfelt speech from the superstar to the packed auditorium.
The ceremony was followed with a performance by the Sanz himself, joined by more than 40 Berklee students and faculty, who together performed hits spanning the star's illustrious career.
