Alumni Win Ten Latin Grammy Awards

Berklee alumni won a total of 10 awards at the 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, held in Las Vegas. Alumni were recognized in some of the top categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Album—Male. Juan Luis Guerra '83 and Benny Faccone '78 won multiple awards this year, while Tommy Torres '94 and Gustavo Borner '89 added one award each to the Latin Grammys they already have at home. Gavin Lurssen '91 won his first Latin Grammy, which will join his three previously earned Grammy Awards. Rodrigo Cuevas '05 and Gael Hedding '05 are first-time winners for their work with Aida Cuevas.
