The Waters of March: Singing Jobim
Directed by Voice Department faculty member Elena Koleva, this concert features students and faculty performing the music of Antônio Carlos Jobim, one of the greatest Brazilian composers of the 20th century.
The ensemble features a team of unique musicians—with instrumentation that includes voice, harp, accordion, and a rhythm section—carrying the tradition of bossa nova while representing it through the prism of today’s jazz and contemporary music.
