Musical Theater: Andrew Panton Presents

Andrew Panton, artistic director of musical theater at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, will present a master class and discussion. 

Panton was a member of the team that first brought musical theater to the RCS (then the RSAMD) over a decade ago. He became head of musical theater in 2007 and then artistic director of musical theater in 2012. He has worked internationally as a director, choreographer, and vocal/performance coach, and within education has worked with students at drama schools and universities all over the world. Parton's work for television includes Tonight’s the Night, The Voice, Gareth Malone’s The Naked Choir, and five years as choir director for Children in Need – all for the BBC. Panton is creative and vocal director for Susan Boyle and recently directed the U.K. and U.S. tours of her live show.
