The Juliet Letters: A Tribute Concert of Songs by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet
Faculty from the Voice and String departments at Berklee College of Music perform contemporary solo songs cowritten by singer-songwriter Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet.
The Juliet Letters, which features a mingling of rock and classical influences inspired by Romeo and Juliet, draws inspiration from the fact that the lovelorn and desperate continue to leave letters addressed to the imaginary Juliet Capulet on a stone wall in Verona, Italy, under the balcony at the purported site of Shakespeare’s play.
