7th Degree

7th Degree was formed by Trinidadian steel pannist and Berklee student Marcus Prince. The styles they play include jazz, funk, R&B, gospel, pop and even Caribbean music. Since its conception last year, the band has garnered a large following among younger Berklee students. Last semester, 7th Degree won Berklee’s 5th annual Battle of the Bands, hosted by the student-led group the Movement at Berklee. The band is just as devoted to providing a performance filled with great musicianship as it is to putting on a show where listeners from all musical backgrounds can find something they can enjoy.
