Japanese pianist/composer/microjammer Hidemi Akaiwa presents original compositions and arrangements written while studying with the great microjam master David Fiuczynski. Come enjoy her creativity, which combines Japanese microtonal techniques with Western theoretical constructs, using synthesizers and acoustic instruments that utilize microtonal vocabularies.
