TUMAINI Cultural Showcase/Educational Fundraiser for Angelina Mbulo

"Tumaini" (too-mah-ee-nee), a Swahili word meaning "hope", is what 32-year-old Berklee College of Music student Angelina Mbulo dreams of bringing home one day to Mozambique, Africa. Her dream - open a school of music to provide children not just a place for an excellent public music education, but the skills and knowledge to lead healthy lives. Receiving her degree in music education and business comes first for this scholarship student who lives with Richard and Bridget Curzi and Nancy McCabe in Belmont. Mbulo plus Richard and Bridget Curzi, The Middle Eastern Ensemble, and others will perform this Sunday night at First Church in Belmont, MA
