The Center for Music Therapy and The Africana Studies Center are proud to host an event that explores the role of music in healing within BIPOC communities in the United States, through a panel discussion and immersive art performance. At this event, you’ll hear from musicians, artists, and advocates about the use of music and the arts to support community health and wellness within diverse communities. You’ll also experience a performance preview of “We Move in Color,” the inspirational and colorful story of the African American journey, told through immersive art, music, dance, and poetry.
