Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance. The videos in this series will premiere at specific dates and times, but if you miss the premiere, each video will be public on the channel in continuity.
Singer-songwriter Tristan performs for this week’s Two Track concert series.
About the Artist
Tristan is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter currently based in Boston and Nashville. Her childhood is best described by the concerts she would put on in her living room and her numerous journals full of songs written in permanent marker and crayon. She has been writing and playing guitar for as long as she can remember, and values storytelling over everything else. Tristan’s musical inspirations lie in just about every genre, but her own music is probably best described as alternative pop songs about boys she’s never dated. She invites you into her melodramatic, playful world, and hopes you feel as if you’ve been reading a page from one of her journals—maybe even a page still written in permanent marker or crayon.
