Lizje is a versatile Colombian performer, songwriter, producer, and solo artist, born in Los Angeles. Her musical journey began at the age of 3, when she started singing. Influenced by the sounds she heard growing up, Lizje learned to love music from the voices of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Aretha Franklin, Mercedes Sosa, Colombian folklore, and all kinds of soulful music.

Her stylistic influences range from R&B, gospel, rock, jazz, funk, and pop to the music of her Colombian roots. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Berklee College of Music in 2017. Lizje is a true artist, soulful and driven by the healing power of music.

Mia Zeta’s music starts from a completely playful and dreamlike place, a space in her head where she allows herself to explore both the conscious and the unconscious, as well as being able to experiment with reality and fantasy. She references Alice in Wonderland as a reflection of her inner world. Creativity and imagination play with each other to sprout songs that have depth and complexity. Genres simply function as one more resource to express what one feels and thinks.

The people who listen must be open to go further, to allow themselves to enjoy both happiness and sadness, to live with their loneliness in order to be able to share; to connect with their interior and thus be able to explore the depth and spatiality of our be—a moment of reflection, of searching, of being able to feel and then go through our earthly and real experience in a lighter and more spiritual way.

With an album already released called Realidades, produced by her producer and guide, Carolina de la Muela, Zeta continues to present her songs live, while giving us her second album, hasta in dreams, now available on digital platforms.
