Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anton Derevyanko is a Boston, Massachusetts–raised tenor saxophonist who studied at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) under the direction of Danilo Pérez. He will begin pursuing a master’s degree in contemporary performance (global jazz concentration) at the BGJI this fall.
Derevyanko has performed in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, and extensively in the United States at major festivals, well-known clubs, and high-profile private functions. He is pursuing a career as a professional musician and composer.
