Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra Celebrates Female Composers
Join the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra (BCSO) and conductor Julius Williams for this concert celebrating the music of female composers across multiple genres. Highlights include Joan Tower’s Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, Rachel Portman’s Chocolat, Beth Denisch’s Golden Fanfare, Elena Roussanova’s Moments of Arrival, and a newly orchestrated piece by Terri Lyne Carrington and Geri Allen.
The concert also features Alfredo Ayala and Saijilima, winners of the BCSO Concerto Competition, playing the Poulenc Concerto for Two Pianos.
