Sound and Stage

Description

In this course students develop mastery of the sound aspects of a live event. Initial focus will be on working effectively as a stagehand, A2, A1, front of house engineer, monitor engineer, playback engineer, and theatrical sound designer. Additional focus will be placed on storytelling and artistically conveying emotion through sound, safety, standard practices, situational awareness, efficiency, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
