Entrepreneurship and Business Practices in the Creative Space

Description

This course unpacks the key elements of music business practices in the present day entertainment marketplace, with tangible examples and in-depth analysis as necessary. We will grasp all of the core concepts at play in the music industry with immediate application into students careers outside of the classroom. This includes, but is not limited to: marketing rollouts, business models, different roles within the music industry, song pitching, and what every creative person in the music business should be doing on a regular basis.
