Wang Leehom ’99 is a world-renowned singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, movie star, record producer, film director, and cultural ambassador. As the best-selling Mandarin-language artist of his generation, Wang’s music hops genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, classical, and traditional Chinese music, earning him more than 60 million social media followers and the title of the King of Chinese Pop.

Wang has written and recorded with a broad cross-section of artists, including Tony Bennett and Avicii, and has won multiple Golden Melody Awards, Taiwan’s answer to the Grammy Awards. Berklee will honor Wang at Symphony Hall in Boston on Sunday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m. with a Signature Series concert featuring Wang joining Berklee students on selections from his expansive catalogue.

Berklee President Roger H. Brown will also present Wang with an honorary doctor of music degree during the concert. Tickets are on sale now at the Symphony Hall box office and at BSO.org.
